Your Healing Breath: Box Breathing Techinque for Coherence
The sound of the breath is the primordial healing sound.
The sound of the breath is powerfully integrating, cleansing and balancing. By relaxing the breath into a steady rhythm, it is possible to entrain the pulse of the heartbeat and the pulse of the brain waves – bringing all into coherence. Moreover, when all are relaxed to a certain rhythm, the field comes into resonance with the Schumann frequency. The Schumann frequency, or 7.8hz is the frequency measurement of the Earth’s electromagnetic field. So by using our breath intentionally, we come into conherence not just with ourselves, but with the earth.
Try the box breathing technique:
Being by noticing your breath. Simply breathe several cycles without changing anything at all, just notice how your breath enters, how deep it is, and it’s pace.
Empty your lungs of all air.
Inhale for a count of 4 seconds. Take your time!
Exhale for a count of 4 seconds.
Repeat this cycle 3 or more times.
If you are able, extend your exhales to 8 full counts. So, inhale 4, exhale 8.
Repeat this cycle 3 or more times.
Add a pause after your inhale. At the top of your inhale pause for 4 seconds before exhaling.
Add a pause after your exhale: At the bottom of your exhale, pause for 4 seconds before inhaling again.
Repeat this cycle 3 or more times. The pauses between the inhales and exhales allow time for vibrations within and around you to integrate with this coherent rhythm.
