Sound Sanctuary is a wonderful way to engage with and learn about the healing energy of sound in a casual group setting. Expect a vibe like a yoga class. Reserve and drop in once in a while, or come as often as you like.

This spring cycle we will focus on exploring and balancing the archetypal, planetary energies of the particular days Sound Sanctuary is offered: Tuesday: Mars; Wednesday: Mercury; Friday: Venus.
We’ll explore:
How we hold and express these energies through ourselves.
Different planetary mantras and their healing benefits.
Related chakras to these planets and days of the week.
Concepts like passion, right-action, beauty and communication.
Harmonizing and balancing archetypal counterpoints within ourselves.

Come as often or as little as you like! Regular attendance is encouraged, though certainly not required. Sound is cumulative! The more you work with sound, the greater the results. Feel free to attend multiple times a week, once a week, a few times, or one time only.
Pay per-session, or save with a package.
If purchasing a package, you must still reserve your space for your selected sessions using your certificate codes.
Often, there will be a theme that is worked on over a 4-week cycle. Learn mantras, sounds and techniques to support a particular area of well-being.

Come dressed comfortably!
I will provide you with herbal tea and water.
There are certain props on hand like bolsters and blankets.
Expect a vibe similar to a yoga class. You may be in close proximity to others depending on attendance. As a group we’ll have a little time to talk and reflect before and after, but most of our time will be devoted to sounds.

For the most part, you should not need to bring anything but yourself! But I’m listening some items below that you may like to have on hand to deepen your experience.
You may wish to bring a journal to record your experiences.
If you know you run cold, or hot, please dress in layers for your comfort level. I do have some blankets on hand for added warmth.
It’s possible a yoga mat may helpful, but likely not necessary. I will let you know in advance if you should bring one.

Depending on space, seating will likely be on covered, cozy, upholstered furniture where you can recline back, put your feet up and relax. If attendance is heavy, we may be seated on the floor in meditation posture. I will let you know in advance.
Like a yoga class, you be in close proximity to someone else. There will be a a bolster/rolled yoga blanket between each seat to help separate and act as an armest.
If seated on furniture, each attendee will have a foot rest so you can elevate your legs, and you will have extra blankets to provide you extra support as needed, and warmth. Also, you will have access to an eye pillow.
Sitting on the ground, meditation style, may be possible depending on space.

Please do your best to arrive on time. If you arrive more than 10-minutes late, I may not be able to let you into the space as I will be making sounds!
